Amidst the chaotic bedding market, a counterfeit mattress or a fake bedsheet set is no longer just a financial threat. It is a “mobile breeding ground of illness”, silently attacking your health every night with toxic chemicals and unpredictable risks of disease. The fight against counterfeits is no longer only the duty of genuine businesses, but also the responsibility of every wise consumer.
The Hidden Dangers of Low-Quality Products
Sleep is a precious “medicine” that restores energy and rejuvenates the body after a long day. Bedding products—mattresses, sheets, pillows, and blankets—are indispensable companions that determine the quality of your rest and your long-term health. Yet the spread of counterfeit, imitation, and low-quality products on the market is quietly turning sleeping spaces into threats to consumer health.
These products are often made from poor-quality materials treated with harmful chemicals for anti-mold and anti-wrinkle purposes. Such chemicals, especially formaldehyde and heavy metals, can cause skin irritation, allergies, rashes—particularly in children and those with sensitive skin. In addition, fabric dust from low-grade materials easily disperses into the air, harming the respiratory system. With fake mattresses, the risk is even greater: poor elasticity, sagging, and lack of proper spinal support can lead to back pain, neck stiffness, and sleep disorders.
Beyond health risks, low-quality products are also an “economic trap”. They may seem cheap at first, but deteriorate quickly—pilling, fading, tearing, or losing shape after only a few washes. Consumers are forced to replace them frequently, resulting in a higher overall cost compared to investing in authentic, high-quality products from the start.
Everon Counterfeit Problem – A Concern for Consumers and Businesses
As a leading trusted brand, Everon has become a prime target for sophisticated counterfeiting. The issue is most prevalent in “hot spots” such as Trác Cầu (Thường Tín) and Thổ Tang (Vĩnh Phúc), where fake production takes place openly, with entire villages involved in the counterfeit supply chain. The most worrying are fake fiber mattresses, which look nearly identical to genuine products, while counterfeit bedding is disguised under distorted brand names like Everton, Everron, Evereen… to deceive consumers.
These counterfeit facilities often operate under a “fragmented” model to avoid detection: mattress cores, covers, and labels are made in different places, then assembled elsewhere to bypass inspections. Despite annual crackdowns by authorities, penalties remain insufficiently strict, allowing counterfeiting to persist.
In response, Everpia is actively cooperating with relevant authorities. Currently, case files against six counterfeit production facilities in Thanh Hóa and two in Hanoi have been completed and are ready for legal proceedings. This effort is not only to protect the Everon brand but, more importantly, to safeguard consumer rights and health.
How to Identify Genuine Everon Products
In the face of increasingly sophisticated counterfeits, equipping yourself with knowledge to be a wise consumer is essential. To protect customer interests and ensure product transparency, Everon has implemented a two-layer anti-counterfeit system:
To protect your health and avoid counterfeits, be a wise consumer: purchase only from Everon’s authorized agents, official website, and official fanpage. Always check the anti-counterfeit label and barcode at the store. Investing in quality sleep is an investment in long-term health—choosing genuine Everon not only guarantees superior quality but is also a practical way to protect your family and join the fight against counterfeit goods.
